The terms that apply when you use the MacNab Financial Services website. Please read them carefully.

1. About these terms
These terms and conditions ("terms") apply to your use of this website. By using the website, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
These terms cover the website only. If you become a client, the advice and services we provide are governed by the client agreement and terms of business your adviser gives you before any work begins. If anything in those documents conflicts with these terms, those documents take priority.
2. Who we are
This website is operated by MacNab Financial Services Limited ("MacNab FS", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12081343), with its registered office at 2 Vicarage Road, Verwood, Dorset, BH31 6DR.
MacNab Financial Services Limited (FRN 912485) is an Appointed Representative of TMG Direct Limited (FRN 786245), which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. You can check these details on the Financial Services Register at register.fca.org.uk.
3. Information on this website is not advice
The content on this website is for general information only. It is not personal financial advice or a recommendation to take out, change or cancel any financial product, and it does not take your circumstances into account.
We only give advice after one of our advisers has spoken with you, understood your needs and circumstances, and confirmed their recommendation to you in writing. Please don't make financial decisions based only on what you read here.
Products, interest rates, lender criteria and the law can change quickly. We aim to keep the website accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that every piece of information is complete or current when you read it.
4. Our mortgage calculator
Our mortgage repayment calculator gives an indication only. The figures are based solely on the information you enter. They assume a capital and interest repayment mortgage at the same interest rate for the full term, and they do not include fees, charges or future changes in rates.
Calculator results, including any results we email to you, are not a mortgage offer, a personalised illustration or a guarantee that you will be able to borrow that amount. Your actual repayments will depend on the lender, the product and your circumstances.
Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
5. Regulated and unregulated products
Most of the mortgages and protection products we arrange are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Some are not. For example, the Financial Conduct Authority does not regulate some forms of buy to let mortgage or most commercial mortgages.
If a product or service is not regulated, your adviser will tell you before you go ahead and explain what that means for you, including any limits on your access to the Financial Ombudsman Service or the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
6. Fees and how we are paid
Using this website is free. If you become a client, your adviser will explain any fee for our services, and how we are paid (for example, commission from a lender or insurer), clearly and in writing before you decide to go ahead.
7. Using our website
You may use this website for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not:
• use it in any way that breaks the law or is fraudulent;
• send us false or misleading information, or information about another person without their permission;
• try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server or any connected system, or introduce viruses or other harmful material;
• use automated tools to copy, scrape or overload the website; or
• copy or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
8. Information you give us
When you contact us, use one of our forms or ask us to email your calculator results, please make sure the details you give us are accurate. We will use your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it and your rights. Our Cookie Policy explains how we use cookies on this website.
If you ask us to email your calculator results and agree to be contacted, we will send you your results and one of our advisers may contact you about your mortgage options. You can tell us at any time that you no longer want to hear from us by emailing contact@macnabfs.co.uk.
Please don't send sensitive information, such as bank details or passwords, through the website's forms or by ordinary email. Your adviser will explain how to share documents with us securely.
9. Our content and intellectual property
This website and its content, including text, images, logos, designs and the MacNab Financial Services name, belong to us or are used with permission. You may view, download and print pages for your own personal use, but you must not copy, reproduce, change or distribute any part of the website for any other purpose without our written permission.
10. Links to other websites
Our website may link to websites run by other organisations, such as lenders, insurers, regulators and review sites. These links are provided for your convenience only. We don't control those websites and are not responsible for their content, their availability or how they use your information.
11. Availability and security
We don't guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted or free from errors or viruses. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice. Please protect your own device, for example by using up-to-date security software.
12. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Nothing in these terms affects any duty we owe you, or any right you have, under the rules of the Financial Conduct Authority or the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
Subject to that, as long as we have taken reasonable care, we are not responsible for any loss you suffer from relying on the general information on this website, or from the website being unavailable. Advice you receive from us as a client is covered by your client agreement, not by this section.
If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your legal rights.
13. Complaints
If you are unhappy with our service, please tell us so we can put things right. Our Complaints Process page explains how to make a complaint and how to contact the Financial Ombudsman Service if you are not satisfied with our response.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law, in regulation or in our services. The latest version will always be on this page, together with the date it was last updated, so please check it each time you use the website.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you can bring legal proceedings about these terms in the courts of England and Wales or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of the country where you live.
