Hello, and welcome
We're MacNab Financial Services, a family-run firm based in Verwood, Dorset. We started with a simple belief: arranging a mortgage or protecting your family shouldn't feel confusing, rushed or impersonal.
Why we do things differently
I've worked in the corporate property and mortgage world since the late 1990s. Through all of it, one thing mattered most to me: clients should receive a genuinely personal service, not be treated as a number on a spreadsheet.
In 2018 I went through a critical illness, and it changed how I looked at my work. Stepping away from corporate pressures felt like the right move, and it gave me the freedom to do things properly. There are so many variables in good financial advice that you have to take the time to understand a person's circumstances, needs and worries before recommending anything. In the corporate world, time is often the barrier. Here, it isn't. We won't rush you, and that's how we make sure you get the right outcome every time.

Buying a home is probably the biggest financial decision most people ever make, and protecting the people who live in it is just as important. That's why we help with both.

We're a smaller firm, and we like it that way. When you call, you'll speak to an adviser who knows your name and your circumstances, not a call centre.
We explain each step in plain English, compare options from a wide range of providers, and stay in touch from your first conversation through to completion and beyond.
